Where is Portixol?
Portixol lies on the outskirts of Palma, but is basically only a 15 minute walk from the cathedral of Palma de Mallorca. Portixol (sometimes called Molinar) is a sea front suburb of Palma, Mallorca, that used to be a little fishing village, and is now a haven for visitors and locals alike with large amount of properties, apartments and houses for sale. It may be easy to overlook this coastal town in favour of the city centre of Palma, which is just a five minute taxi ride away, but Portixol has a bit of everything all on it’s own.

If you don’t feel confident enough for roller-blading or skate-boarding you could hire a bicycle or Segway and explore the coast line.
The night life in Portixol also can be very lively, especially during high season. As with many fashionable locations, venues do come and go quite quickly, but there is usually a good choice of different bars and clubs to choose from.
